I stood upon the highest cliff
That over looked the sea
The morning had just awakened
It was beautiful as can be.
My legs were weak and trembling
For the climb had been long and hard
The way at times seem endless
Looking back it wasn't far.

But I had to go through hardship
And hang on precariously.
Sometimes I hadn't a foothold
On my quest to Dolphins Leap.
I was tested first by fire
That threatened to burn me down.
I wondered if I would make it
Until an inner strength was found.
The way was not made easy
But my path had to be forged.
Others had gone before me
Yet uniquely each transformed.

For the struggle had a purpose
There was much to my travail
But the outcome worth the effort
To be determined not to fail.
Then suddenly there before me
I saw what was to come,
From this view I saw the promise
For my new life had just begun.
