Winter Gazebo

In a quiet woodland setting,
Protected in natures arms.
Nestled in a clearing
A Gazebo, of timeless charm.

I walked into the center
And sensed an age old love
Hewn into the timber
Weather made it rough.

Carved into a pillar
Were names within a heart
Are they together?
Or had time kept them apart.

As I stroked the timbers beauty
The Gazebo came alive
I heard the sounds of laughter
The whisper of a sigh.

I stood in utter silence
Snow began to fall
Enchanted by the magic
The wonder of it all.
